Shavonne Tonnes, PA-C

Shavonne is from the Bahamas and where she grew up, the community was generally medically underserved. From a young age, Shavonne always found an interest in learning more about preventative care and improving health outcomes.

Shavonne found her way to the West Coast on a track scholarship and continued to volunteer as a track coach at her daughter’s school. She spends her time gardening, cooking and boating. She also helps operate a family run conservation initiative in Eleuthera, Bahamas, called Edwin’s Turtle Lake marine Reserve, which works to conserve a small population of sea turtles within a blue hole.
