Skin & Wound Care Provider
Rachel Westman, APRN, AGPCNP-C

Rachel started her journey in healthcare as a nursing aid during college and absolutely loved working with patients and families. She found being able to step into someone’s life at the low moments and making a difference in their experience was an incredible privilege. She continued to nursing school, graduated, and had the rewarding opportunity to take care of active duty and retired sailors in the US Navy. Fast forward to now, as a nurse practitioner, Rachel is passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of her patients by ensuring and delivering the best care possible.

As the daughter of a service member, Rachel moved quite a bit, though she calls Tennessee “home.” Having moved to the Pacific Northwest, Rachel enjoys spending time outdoors to include hiking, walking, and bicycling many of the trails in the Portland area as well as exploring new places with her husband and son. She also likes to read, practice yoga, and attempt gardening. She loves to maintain social connections by regularly meeting family and friends for coffee or exploring the amazing Portland food scene. In her down-time she can be found enjoying quirky British gardening shows with her husband or furthering her education by listening to hour-long lectures about dinosaurs from her son.
